My Writing Center Experiences

During the second semester, I have visited the writing center to work on my research paper and my revision. I found my writing center visits very useful in terms of making my writing assignments better. I always found the writing fellows extremely helpful and happy to help me. I enjoy going to the writing center to make sure that I am turning in my best writing. 

When I went to the writing center for my research paper, my writing fellow and I focused mainly on the organization of my paper. We made changes in where I put important information to make my paper easier to read. We also focused on transitions into new topics or paragraphs. I am not very good at using transitions, so going to the writing center helped with this part of my paper. When I visited the writing center for my revision on my personal narrative, I had many things to focus on because I was revising writing from the beginning of the year. We focused on making my grammar better and taking out unnecessary sentences. Going to the writing center has helped me quite a few times this year. Overall, my writing center experiences were helpful and enjoyable.
